Bucks boss Andy Sinton today revealed he will be targeting experienced campaigners when the January transfer window re-opens.
The AFC Telford chief, who was watching his side take on Luton Town at the New Bucks Head today, has made no secret of his desire to freshen up his squad next month in a bid to help revive their stuttering fortunes.
And he has revealed he has identified specific targets to improve the quality at his disposal.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder said he is particularly keen to bring in players with experience at Blue Square Bet Premier League or Football League level.
He said: “I would like to shuffle the pack in January. I would like to bring in two or three new faces. last year we brought in three or four (in January).
“I know what we need, I know the type of character and player we need and we will be trying as hard as we possibly can (to bring the right players in).
“We are certainly targeting people who have been in the Conference before and have a little bit of experience. We will see where we are in January but we have got targets.
“Getting them is another thing but we have got targets that I know will strengthen our squad.”
Sinton has previously stated that he may have to move players out in order to bring new faces in. Yesterday it was confirmed striker Darren Byfield would be departing in January when his contract expires.
