AFC Telford United frontman Kyle Perry insists he will have no problem finding the net against his parent club when the Bucks face Lincoln City this weekend.

And the fans favourite also admitted he would love to return to the New Bucks Head on a permanent basis.

The 25-year-old who enjoyed a successful spell with Telford from 2004 to 2006 is currently on loan until the end of the season.

But he admits the club is in his blood, something he acknowledges will make it easier to tackle his employers at Sincil Bank on Saturday.

“I’ll do a full lap of the pitch if I score because a goal means that much to me,” said Perry.

“Hopefully I can do the same as I did in the fixture earlier in the season (he scored twice in a Lincoln win), only this time for Telford.

“At one point I didn’t think I would be allowed to play but thankfully that was sorted out and I can’t wait now.

“But at the end of the game I will respect everyone and go around and shake everybody’s hand.

“I would love to stay at Telford for longer but that is obviously something that has to be discussed during the summer.”

Perry knows he finds himself in a unique situation this weekend, but isn’t letting that affect him.

“It’s difficult,” he said. “Lincoln have signed me and at the moment I will be going back there next season.

“I’m thankful for that contract because I am financially secure for another year and at this level that means a lot because I know a lot of lads who haven’t been.

“Lincoln have had quite a lot of upheaval.

“I think they have had three different managers this season and that creates a lot of unrest with players coming and going.

“But it’s a massive game for us and one I will be trying to help us win.”

And the striker is confident his first competitive goal back at the Bucks isn’t far away.

“I am really happy to be playing football and hopefully I will be scoring some goals,” he added.

“I had a good 75 minutes against Mansfield and scored twice and was happy with how I played on Saturday. It’s a case of managing my fitness a little bit at the moment.”
