AFC Telford United chairman Lee Carter is calling on the club’s fans to come and support the Bucks in their Boxing Day clash with current Blue Square Bet Conference leaders Wrexham.
The fixture, the first league meeting between the two sides, is expected to attract more than 3,500 fans to the New Bucks Head with the Dragons anticipating a travelling support of around 1,000.
“This is going to be a really big occasion,” said Carter.
“We really need to get plenty of people out in support of Telford that day as Wrexham are expecting a huge following.
“It will undoubtedly be one of the biggest derbies we have hosted at the ground.”
The match is a 12noon kick off.
