Bumper crowd for AFC Telford v Gateshead

AFC Telford United are gearing up for a bumper crowd this weekend as a result of a special ‘Dawley Day’ promotion designed to attract a new generation of fans.
Around 1,200 tickets have been issued to local people from Dawley and surrounding areas including Lightmoor and Lawley for Saturday’s big clash with Blue Square Bet Premier high-fliers Gateshead.
The scheme was the brainchild of the club’s Dawley Supporters Club and has been enthusiastically backed by the board of directors.
“We have initiated a network of supporters groups throughout Telford & Wrekin this season and this is the first event to be organised,” chairman Lee Carter revealed.

Ive heard its fancy dress too…..tracksuits baseball caps, trainers, goldchains, staffordshire bull and not fogetting the asbo and tags.
