Sinton not downbeat after AFC Telford defeat
Wednesday 19th October 2011, 11:50AM BST.
Boss Andy Sinton refused to be downbeat after seeing his side sunk by an injury-time own goal at Forest Green Rovers, insisting: “Our luck will turn.”
Skipper Shane Killock put through his own net in the 93rd minute at The New Lawn last night to hand Rovers a 2-1 win.
That was a blow to the Bucks, who looked to be heading for a point in the Blue Square Bet Premier clash after Adam Proudlock’s 77th minute equaliser.
But Sinton was pleased by a more encouraging display, having been very critical following their 2-0 defeat at home to Ebbsfleet on Saturday.
“For probably the first time in Telford’s history we had them in on Sunday morning because I didn’t want to wait after what I saw with my own eyes on Saturday,” said Sinton.
