Frustrated boss Andy Sinton today cited a worrying lack of belief as he came to terms with AFC Telford United’s worst display of the season.
The Bucks went down 2-0 at home to Ebbsfleet United on Saturday, only the second time since winning a place in the Blue Square Bet Premier that they have lost by more than the odd goal.
And – as they waited to learn their opponents in today’s draw for the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup – Sinton admitted he had sensed a fear factor in the Telford players.
“There seems to be a fear of the level we are playing at,” he said.
