Andy Sinton dons boots in aid of Matt Murray
Saturday 8th October 2011, 11:39AM BST.
AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton will roll back the years by donning the boots tomorrow – in aid of his former Wolves colleague Matt Murray.
The giant goalkeeper was forced to abandon a hugely promising career last year after a catalogue of injury problems.
Sinton’s three year stint at Wolves from 1999 to 2002 coincided with Murray coming through the ranks, and the Bucks boss will line up alongside his old team-mate when a Wolves XI take on the All Stars at Molineux (2pm) in Murray’s testimonial.
“I’m due to have a little run-out for Matt though I’m not sure how long I’ll last,” Sinton confirmed.
