AFC Telford 1 Stockport 1
Saturday 10th September 2011, 8:31PM BST.
AFC Telford United battled to a 1-1 draw at home to Stockport County thanks to a Sean Newton penalty.
The full back converted a spot kick just three minutes into the second half, seven days after missing from 12 yards at Southport.
But the Bucks held the lead for just three minutes as Antonio German was allowed too much space and fired in an equaliser from 20 yards.
Telford could have won the game with Craig Farrell seeing a header superbly kept out by County keeper Matthew Glennon and sub Greg Mills curling a 20 yard effort just wide in the final seconds.
