Sinton eager to strengthen AFC Telford squad

AFC Telford United boss Andy Sinton remains eager to strengthen his squad ahead of the start of the pre-season games.
The Bucks boss has already brought in four new recruits – with striker Craig Farrell the latest to jump on board.
Farrell has arrived from financially-stricken Rushden & Diamonds to join former Leicester forward Craig King, Altrincham defender Robbie Williams and Hinckley winger James Reid.
Sinton is delighted with the business he has done so far but insists there is more to come – hopefully ahead of the trip to Rocester for the first friendly next Tuesday.
“I’m talking to an experienced defender, who is about 27 or 28 and has played at our level,” said Sinton, who guided the Bucks to promotion through the Conference North play-offs last season.
“There’s also a young defender who is almost tied up, we just need to sort out a few loose ends.
“We need at least one goalkeeper to compete with Ryan Young and there are bound to be one or two others who come out of the woodwork before the start of the season.”
