AFC Telford United blew a two-goal lead as they missed out on the chance to seal second spot in the Blue Square Bet North.
An own goal from Matt Coupe gave the Bucks a half-time lead and it was no less than they deserved.
Winger Greg Mills also hit the post while Liam Murray had a header cleared off the line and Gloucester keeper Kevin Sawyer also made three saves.
The game seemed dead and buried when Sean Newton made it two for the visitors with a terrific free-kick on 64 minutes.
But Gloucester had a lifeline just four minutes later thanks to a thunderous free-kick from Adam Mann and claimed a share of the spoils on 76 minutes when Will Morford lashed in the equaliser.
