Guiseley 0 AFC Telford 3
Saturday 5th March 2011, 5:36PM GMT.
AFC Telford United turned in a super all-round performance to thrash one of their main promotion rivals in the Blue Square Bet North.
Both sides had chances in what was an absorbing and keenly-contested first half, the Bucks going ahead on 44 minutes with Andy Brown turning the ball in from close range for his third goal in four outings.
Telford bossed the second half and stretched Guiseley’s creaking defence to breaking point.
They finally went two up on 77 minutes when Adam Proudlock sprung the offside trap and forced a save out of Lions keeper Steven Drench, Carl Rodgers following up to lash in.
The icing on the cake came in stoppage time as Jon Adams latched onto a long ball and advanced forward before beating Drench at his near post with a shot from just inside the area.

This was one of the most exciting displays of soccer that I have seen at any level for a long time, Telford were superb and Guisley were not too far behind , hard to chose a man of the match but I thought Will Salmon was particularly outstanding.
