Darren Read: Bucks can win Blue Square promotion

Assistant manager Darren Read has offered an insight into the confidence inside AFC Telford United’s dressing room, declaring: “We know we’re promotion contenders,” writes CHRIS HUDSON.
The Bucks had lost just once in the Blue Square Bet North all season ahead of this afternoon’s clash at home to Eastwood Town.
And Read believes manager Andy Sinton’s positive approach is rubbing off on their players.
“We’re quite happy with the squad we’ve got,” said Read. “It’s a good, strong squad.”
“I think the lads are starting to believe now that we are a contender and that we can go and push on and really be a major force in this league.
“We have to believe we can go on and win it or at least get into the play-offs. From day one the gaffer has instilled in everyone a winning mentality,” he added.
“But for a couple of hiccups it has been very successful for us and we’ll continue to approach it in the right way.”
