Nick Price, who has skippered Shrewsbury for the last three years, is moving to Sheffield to live while several other players who played for the club in this season's Midlands Two relegation campaign are also moving on.

The Roman Road Sports Centre side were pleased to end their testing campaign on a positive note last weekend by beating Coventry & North Warwick 3-2. Top scorer Craig Heath netted twice while Andy Bulmer was also on target.

As well as losing the services of skipper Price, both Angus Comerford and Jacob Caddick are off to university while Simon Cassidy and Phil Fordham are also moving on as they will be leaving the area.

Telford & Wrekin ended their season with an 8-3 hammering of Coalville that saw them finish in fourth place.

Michael Cooper, Alex Johnson and Dave Tracey all bagged braces while Barney Bithell and Tom Gough also netted. Forward Noah Higginson made his first-team debut at the age of 14.

Defender Jon Woodrow said: "Results against the other top teams ultimately cost us the chance for promotion but we will fancy our chances next season."
