The Bridgnorth-based rider entered the Frohburg Road Races and secured three superbike race wins from his four starts around the 2.93-mile public road course.

Rutter will be on the same bike as part of a three-rider line-up for the Macau GP in China, which runs from November 17-20, teaming up with Stuart Easton and Peter Hickman.

Riding for the Penz13.Com BMW Motorrad team, Rutter qualified second for the opening Frohburg race.

The 44-year-old was up against European talent in the form of Belgium team-mates Vincent Lonbois and Sebastien Le Grelle, and German star Didier Grams.

With all four riders mounted on BMW S1000RR machinery, every race came down to a last lap battle. But wildcard Rutter edged ahead in the two races that formed part of the International Road Racing Championship series.

Grams crashed out of the first 10-lap race leaving Rutter to take the opening win 1.8 seconds clear of Lonbois, with Le Grelle in third. In the second Rutter beat Le Grelle by half a second.

During the two non-championship superbike races, Rutter was first and second.

He said: "It's been another really enjoyable visit to Frohburg and to come away with a hat-trick is very pleasing."
