The reigning league and British Challenge Cup winners will travel to Yorkshire on the Saturday, before the curtain-raiser at Telford Ice Rink 24 hours later.

A week later, the Tigers travel to EPL newcomers Hull Pirates, before facing likely title rivals Basingstoke Bison the next day.

Tigers general manager Paul Thomason said: "Last season was incredible for everyone involved, but now we're back into the thick of it straight away.

"We've got to be on our game from the very first weekend."

A busy festive schedule currently has the Tigers playing Hull at home on Boxing Day, before travelling to face Manchester Phoenix 24 hours later.

They then face three games in three days, starting with a New Year's Day trip to Milton Keynes Lightning.

The final few weeks of the season will see Telford play potential title deciders against Basingstoke and Milton Keynes Lightning on March 12 and 13.
