We're back in play-off mix insists Stearman

Richard Stearman believes Wolves are right back in the play-off hunt after their brilliant Christmas double.

Yesterday's 2-1 win over Brentford came hot on the heels of a 1-0 Boxing Day triumph at Watford and means Kenny Jackett's men are just three points outside the top six

After a run of five straight defeats, Wolves have taken 10 points from the last four games and Stearman admits the play-offs are once more on their mind.

"All a sudden we are looking up the league, thinking of the play-offs," said the centre-back.

"Six points in three days over the Christmas period makes it nicer; it is a busy time, but everyone is in the same boat.

"It is tough on the legs, but I think we have shown we can handle it and come through with two wins.

"It has put us right back in the mix. We have had a good four games now and all of a sudden November is behind us and we are looking up.

"It sums the Championship up.

"You put a string of results together and you fly back up the league.

"We are getting back to where we feel we should be."
