No final for Shropshire ladies bowls team
Shropshire ladies bowls team have just missed out on their second consecutive Senior County Championship final.

The county side won the competition last year but they went down at the penultimate hurdle by just two chalks yesterday. Shropshire won the home leg against South Yorkshire 225-185 but lost the away leg 234-192.
The northerners now face Warwickshire and Worcestershire on September 21. Shropshire will contest the Waterloo Cup, for third and fourth place, against Yorkshire the day before.
