Matt Jarvis is set for key talks on his future with Wolves boss Stale Solbakken next week.
Wolves are believed to be asking £10m each for the one-capped England winger and Steven Fletcher, their prices a reflection of their keenness to hang on to their best players.
There is plenty of Premier League interest in the pair, and Stoke are watching developments closely, although there are no bids on the table for any of the senior players yet.
Jarvis is keen to establish what the club is planning to do, and wanted to see Solbakken before the manager flew back to Norway on Thursday.
The discussions will be the starting point for what is expected to be the start of a drawn-out process of negotiations between Wolves, their star players and interested clubs before August 31.
Solbakken said: “I’ll probably speak to them all next week or in Ireland because there have been lots of tests this week and it’s more difficult to talk to everyone face to face.”
Wolves today started to ease their logjam of players by selling Nathaniel Mendez-Laing to Championship rivals Peterborough.
The 20-year-old right-winger has signed a three-year deal at London Road.
