The New Saints trying to focus on Airbus game
Friday 25th November 2011, 10:59AM GMT.
The New Saints will look to get their Welsh Premier title chase back on track at the end of a dramatic week that saw Mike Davies announce his shock resignation.
It has been a turbulent fortnight for the Saints with defeats against Bangor City and Afan Lido followed by the shock departure of director of football Davies after 18 months in the job.
The club are now advertising the post, with applications required to be submitted to the club before December 5.
In the meantime, head coach Carl Darlington – who has been abroad this week – flies back to take over the reins along with player coach Scott Ruscoe.
And their first task is to steady matters in tonight’s home clash with mid-table Airbus UK (7.45pm), knowing that victory would take TNS back to the top of the table despite the recent upheaval.
