TNS can take Prestatyn apart, says Davies
Friday 28th October 2011, 12:18PM BST.
Mike Davies believes The New Saints can go from strength to strength as they bid to tighten their grip at the top of the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier when they head to Prestatyn tonight, writes JOHN BRIDGWATER.
After last week’s 3-2 success over Port Talbot, the Saints know that victory would take them six points clear at the top as fellow challengers Llanelli, Bangor City and Neath are all playing later in the weekend.
Last season’s runners-up are unbeaten since the second game of the season, with nine wins and a draw in their last 10 outings, but will be wary of a Prestatyn side who are pushing for a top six place.
But director of football Davies is backing his side to maintain the momentum.
