TNS land Welsh Premier monthly managerial award

The New Saints management team of Mike Davies and Carl Darlington have landed the season’s first Welsh Premier monthly managerial award.
After a shaky start in August which brought a draw with Bala and a defeat at Port Talbot, the Saints have won their last seven games including victories against three title contenders – Llanelli, Neath and Bangor City.
Darlington and Davies win the August/September award, while the league’s leading goal scorer for the past six seasons, Rhys Griffiths – who plays for Llanelli – is the player of the month with 11 goals to date.
Nine of the goals came in September and included consecutive hat-tricks against lowly Newtown and Bala Town.
