Burway believe the play-off pendulum has swung in Hanwood’s favour as they begin their quest to avoid a third successive near-miss tomorrow night.

Beaten in the winner-takes-all match by Childs Ercall in 2009 and Bylet last season, Burway launch a fresh bid to join the Shropshire elite when they tackle Madeley Cricket Club in the first semi-final tomorrow.

But captain Russell Davies believes it is Hanwood who are in the box seat to book their place in the final against Bylet on Friday week.
