Cricket: Shropshire name Minor Counties squad

Shropshire have named a 13-man squad for Sunday’s big Minor Counties Knockout quarter-final with Cambridgeshire at Wellington.
From the team beaten on the Duckworth-Lewis method at Cumberland in their final group match, holders Shropshire welcome back key allrounder Joe Leach, former captain James Ralph, seamer Jonty Mountford and Shrewsbury’s Alex Blofield.
There is a slight injury concern over Mountford who is struggling with a shoulder injury.
“We have picked 13 and that means we have got all bases covered on the morning of the game,” said captain Ed Foster.
The full squad: Ed Foster (Shrewsbury, captain), Jono Whitney (Bridgnorth), Chris Murtagh (Reigate), Rob Foster, Joe Leach (both Shrewsbury), James Ralph (Kidderminster) Tom Cox (Shrewsbury), Anthony Parker (Shifnal), Andy Gray (Alvaston & Boulton), Jonty Mountford (Shifnal), Mark Downes (Wellington), Richard Oliver (Whitchurch), Alex Blofield (Shrewsbury).
