Ed Foster demands cricketers keep eye on ball
Saturday 4th June 2011, 11:29AM BST.
Shropshire cricket captain Ed Foster will demand no let-up from his on-song team in tomorrow’s ‘dead rubber’ at Cumberland.
Shropshire head to Kendal for an MCCA Trophy meeting with their place in the quarter-finals of the 50-overs-per-side tournament already booked after three successive group one wins.
But Foster is anxious for his side to extend their eight game winning streak in the competition.
“It would be a real shame if we went up there with a poor attitude and let our run in this tournament go,” said Foster.
