Snooker stars set sights on final win

Two of the county’s in-form players will do battle in the Shropshire Star Snooker final tonight.
Shifnal’s Matt Davies will take on Rob Dubicki, who is representing the Raven Hotel in Whitchurch, at Reman Services in Shrewsbury.
Defending champion Davies is chasing a fourth success in the prestigious event and has been in fine form throughout the season.
He has won the Telford Individual for the sixth time and clinched a fourth success — but his first since 2000 — in the Staffordshire & West Midlands championship.
But it is the Shropshire Star title which is the jewel in his crown.
