Three Shropshire judokas in British squad for Turkey

Three Shropshire judokas have been included in a 14-strong British squad to compete at the Senior European Championships in Turkey next month.
Edinburgh-based Sarah Adlington, who hails from Bayston Hill, near Shrewsbury, will compete in the over-78kgs section in Istanbul.
Telford’s Gemma Howell will bid to build on her growing reputation in the under-57kgs category.
And there will also be county representation in the men’s event, with fast improving Shrewsbury player Danny Williams selected for the under-73kgs event.
