Telford Tigers suffered another difficult weekend – losing to two of the strongest teams in the English Premier Ice Hockey League.
But of more pressing concern to the team management is the mounting injury list hitting an already small squad.
Top scorer Scott McKenzie ended up in hospital with a suspected broken collarbone during yesterday’s 4-3 defeat at home to Basingstoke Bisons.
Ashley Stanton also came off suffering dizzy spells during the game.
The side went down 6-3 at Slough Jets on Saturday.
Player-coach Tom Watkins said: “The guys keep playing with heart and commitment.”
