Shrewsbury 1 Southend United 1
Saturday 20th November 2010, 4:54PM GMT.
A late Southend equaliser denied Shrewsbury Town a vital home victory.
After a lacklustre opening period, Mark Wright broke the deadlock for Shrewsbury two minutes into the second half.
The winger showed great technique to fire a volley into the bottom corner after a cross from Jake Robinson had been headed down by Matt Harrold.
But Southend snatched a point late on when Anthony Grant produced a smart volley from a tight angle after getting on the end of a cross from defender Bilel Mohsni in the 87th minute.
