AFC Telford 2 Corby 1
Saturday 20th November 2010, 4:55PM GMT.
AFC Telford United came from behind to post a third consecutive victory and book a place in the first round proper of the FA Carlsberg Trophy.
Corby took the lead on 18 minutes, Nathan Jarman heading in off a corner whipped in by Andrew Burgess.
But Telford got back on level terms just before half-time, Carl Rodgers applying the killer touch to turn in a Jon Adams free-kick from wide on the left.
Jon Adams netted the winner with a super header off a terrific cross from Sean Newton.
The margin of victory should have been greater but Andy Brown’s penalty was saved after Greg Mills had been brought down by Phillip Gulliver.
