Stevenage 1 Shrewsbury Town 1
Saturday 13th November 2010, 4:56PM GMT.
A second half equaliser from Matt Harrold ensured Shrewsbury Town earned a pleasing point at Stevange.
Graham Turner’s side fell behind inside seven minutes when goalkeeper Chris Neal failed to hold a free-kick from Michael Bostwick and Chris Holroyd tapped in from close range.
Stevenage were on top in the opening period but the visitors got back into the game after the break with boss Turner making tactical and personnel alterations.
And Shrewsbury’s equaliser came when Harrold slotted home an inviting left wing cross from Kevin McIntyre.

Shrewsbury got away with it , i dont think they had one effort on the Stevenage goal first half , and it took a free kick that should of been retaken to get your goal . Still with all the Boro dominance we only got the one goal , and as we all know its about taking chances .

You’ve got to admire STFC – their tactic of loosing the first match of cup tournaments so they can concentrate on the league seems to be working. Who cares the the trophy cabinet is empty – perhaps they could store some stationery in it or something.
