Manager Simon Line has summed up the new found confidence in his Market Drayton Town squad by declaring: “We believe we can go anywhere and win.”

An horrendous run of nine successive Evo Stik League division one south defeats has been emphatically ended by a return of eight points from the last four games.

And Drayton will be hoping to continue that tomorrow when they travel to face a Rushall Olympic side who they defeated 5-3 in the President’s Cup last month.

“We believe we can go anywhere and win and we want to keep the good run going,” said manager Simon Line.

“Pure basic hard work from the entire squad has been the key to the turnaround in our fortunes.

“But we know that Rushall is a very difficult place to go.

“There’s a big slope there and it can get very heavy there, and there was a stage in that cup game where it wasn’t going well for us at all.”

Striker Tom Rogers remains an injury doubt but defender Grant Goodhead is getting closer to returning to full fitness.

He was on the bench for Tuesday’s 2-0 victory at Rainworth Miners Welfare.
