Market Drayton sign Steve Jagielka

Market Drayton Town have completed the signing of former Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford United star Steve Jagielka.
The 25-year-old midfielder played 90 minutes in Drayton’s 2-2 pre-season friendly draw with Nantwich Town last night and is in line to start the opening Evo-Stik Division One South league game of the season against Glapwell on Saturday, August 21.
And Drayton boss Simon Line was delighted with the capture.
He said: “It’s fantastic news for us. In the two games he’s played for us he’s brought a new dimension.
“We’re still quite a young side and even the experienced players we have are still young lads.”
Meanwhile Line confirmed that midfielder Jamie Haynes had moved to Conference North outfit Redditch United.
