Telford Titans coach Dave Fielder has vowed to "bring through the Telford lads" after making four more signings ahead of the ENL 1 season.

Fielder has unveiled Kev Parton, Scott Williams, Owen Bennett and Luke Hayward as the latest additions to his squad.

The retention of Parton and Williams has been a long-term target for the Titans supremo, who believes they can make up for the loss of top scorer Luke Brittle.

He said: "They are two very good players and Scott has played at a higher level for couple of seasons.

"He was a late signing last year, but still picked up quite a few points. With us losing Luke, I want those two to make the step up, get more points and provide leadership."

The return of Bennett is another boost for Fielder, who wants the youngster to provide strength in penalty-killing situations.

He said: "Owen is a great player to have in the team and if there is any trouble on the ice, he is the first to help out.

"Last year we developed Sean Weeks to play on penalty kills and I want to do the same with Owen."

Fielder has continued to tap into the rich seam of talent amongst Telford's junior sides with the addition of teenager Luke Hayward, although he is still searching for another import.

"I am trying to replace Marek Hornak with another import, as he was a big loss, but I don't want to look outside of Telford too much.

"I want to bring through to Telford lads, so I will be speaking to a few more of the kids over the next few weeks."

Telford Titans are expected to make a return to league action at the start of September.
