Oliver Farr’s top five finish

Shropshire golfer Oliver Farr has registered a top five finish in one of the leading tournaments in amateur golf.
The 22-year-old from Ludlow finished fifth in the Brabazon Trophy at Hoylake.
Farr posted weekend rounds of 76 and 74, following up scores of 74 and 68 from the first two days, to finish on four-over-par.
That was seven shots behind runaway winner Darren Wright.
