Friday 25th June 2010, 6:03PM BST.
The venue for Shropshire’s biggest one-day cricket match in seven years has been revealed.
Ed Foster’s side will make the trip to Welwyn Garden City to take on hosts Hertfordshire in the semi-finals of the MCCA Trophy.
The 50-overs-per-side encounter will take place on Sunday, July 11 with the winners progressing to the final at the Riverside in Durham.
The semi-final also has a reserve day – on Monday, July 12 – in case of poor weather.
It is the furthest Shropshire have been in the competition since they were beaten finalists at Lord’s in 2003.
