Wem USC in Trophy stunner

Wem USC will face St Georges in the final of the Alan Mayhew Trophy after a thrilling night of action in the last four.
St Georges booked their passage to the final on Saturday, June 26, thanks to a four shot victory over Wrockwardine Wood last night.
But it was Wem that sprung the biggest sensation winning by the same margin against hot trophy favourites Castlefields.
Wem won by 24 at home and lost by 20 away, with Colin Smith scoring a 21-8 home victory over All England ace Callum Wraight, who plays for USC in the Whitchurch League.
The Services Boys face Fields again tomorrow in the Premier League with skipper Mel Jenkins sure the leaders can be caught.
