Castlefields put one hand on crown

Reigning champions Castlefields have one hand on the Furrows Shropshire Premier Bowls League crown again after a stunning 12-2 away win at Childs Ercall.
They took advantage of a soaked green last night to whitewash the back four and pull a staggering 15 points clear at the top already.
Archibald Worthington are bottom after their home game with St Georges was rained off while Ford had a morale-boosting first win of the season, 10-4 against visiting Bayley. Full scores:
