Shropshire businesses continue to demonstrate their strength and resilience in an uncertain climate.
Today the Shropshire Star is giving them the opportunity to celebrate all their achievements.
The Shropshire Star Excellence in Business Awards 2017 will see hundreds of local business leaders gather at RAF Museum Cosford for the fourth time, in order to reward and recognise a year of success.
Whether you’re working with milk or metal, and whether you run a business in agriculture or accountancy, every area of Shropshire’s economy is catered for with the range of awards on offer.
Businesses that are taking their first steps down the road of entrepreneurship, and those that have 100 years of trading under their belts are equally likely to find an award that is right for them.
It doesn’t matter whether you are an ambitious start-up working from a back room, or the boss of a multi-million pound business with hundreds of staff.
Well-known organisations from the county’s business community have backed the awards, and you can read about them over the next few pages.
The awards are free to enter, and if you turn to the centre of this supplement you will find full details of the eight categories on offer.
Information on how to enter the awards can be found on the same pages.
There’s a broad range of categories on offer, including some recognising the importance of farming, food and micro businesses to Shropshire’s economy.
You have until February 14 – Valentine’s Day – to get your entries in for this year’s awards, which will take place under the wings of the aircraft at RAF Museum Cosford on May 4.
To enter the competition, but you must register with us in advance through the awards website.
All the finalists, along with the sponsors and other members of the Shropshire business community, will enjoy a glittering awards ceremony.
The Shropshire Star Excellence in Business Awards 2016 provide the perfect opportunity to show the world what your business is doing, and to celebrate the staff who make it such a success.
