A noodle bar and a takeaway could soon open in Oswestry town centre creating a number of jobs, it was revealed today.
Christopher Norcross and his wife, who run Tams cafe and noodle bar in Chirk, are looking to expand their business by moving to the town.
They have agreed a lease on premises in New Street and applied for permission for change of use from a shop to a restaurant.
Mr and Mrs Norcross have said both full-time and part-time jobs will be available.
Separate plans have also been unveiled for a takeaway restaurant in Mosaic House, Smithfield Street, which would create two full-time and four part-time jobs.
