"School should reopen as normal on Thursday."

So does that mean that parents can 'fine' the school then?

Has anyone ever heard of coats?

What a laugh this is ! Just like many who read this, we did not even know what central heating was ?

What a pathetic little people our youth have become. They arrive in heated cars, and if it snows, that means the week off for teachers, who say they are snow bound at the slightest excuse

And what a delight it is to see in the New Year with such heart-warming comments as yours, driver.

Didn't Frederick Douglass once say "it's easier to build strong children than to repair broken men"

Happy New Year one and all.

Driver,

"What a pathetic little people our youth have become."

With this you may already be a contender for the Shropshire Star Comments Most Mean-Spirited Nonsense of 2017 Award, even though the year has only just started. Well done, I guess!

I know a lot of teenagers and they are, on the whole, great, hardworking, fun young people who deserve a lot more credit than they often get. One day off won't harm their education- I hope that Meole Brace students enjoy their unexpected extra day of holiday.
