This is the Dyas Bros store in Shrewsbury, but pictured under previous ownership in 1888, by Mr Della Porta. Before Dyas had it, it was a greengrocers with a cafe above. Presumably the gentleman pictured is the proprietor. This photo was loaned by Andrew Dyas. The Dyas business is 120 years old, having opened on October 10, 1891, at these premises at 14 The Square, where it remains in the same premises, although these days it goes by the name Jane Dyas.
