Spring is in the air, so more and more people are going to be enjoying a trip to Church Stretton and its well-known beauty spot, the Carding Mill Valley. But we're going back in time with this view of "W.E.G. Pearce & Co's Hotel & Cafe" which must have served many a welcome cuppa to visitors over the years. Look carefully and you can see some people in the doorway, and to the right the nose of a car is just poking out. It looks like it may be a 1930s model, which gives an idea of the era of this undated photo. Picture: Ray Farlow.
