In days gone by Bridgnorth had its own little boat hire fleet, as you can see here. It looks as if the boats are being got ready for a trip up and down the River Severn. This photo was e-mailed in by Bob Hanley of Telford and is undated. Note the smoke coming from the town's chimneys over the river - towns were smoky places in those days when everybody had coal fires.
