This is some of the musical talent from the Clun area almost 90 years ago. It is Clun Methodist Male Choir and violinists around 1922 or 1923, as seen in an unfranked postcard. The exact location is not known, but is presumably outside a building in Clun. The picture comes from Mrs Jan Cockerill, of Vineyard Road, Wellington, and is one of a number which originally belonged to her great-grandparents, the Pughs and Morrises, who lived in the Clun and Bettwys-y-Crwyn areas. In the middle of the top row is a Pugh relative, but all the others are unidentified.
