Santa arrived in style at a Shrewsbury garden centre this weekend when he turned up in a horse drawn carriage.
The event on Sunday saw Father Christmas welcomed at Dobbies Garden World with a parade which included Dobbies Little Seedlings Club, festive characters and live music.
And to mark this festive season all Dobbies Garden Centres are supporting Starlight Children’s Foundation, a UK wish granting charity for children with serious and terminal illnesses.
All customers can help make children’s wishes come true by making their own festive wish or leaving a seasonal message on Dobbies’ Wish Tree for a donation at the information desk in-store.
Sarah Faulkner, general manager, said: “Santa’s arrival is the biggest event in our calendar and is fantastic fun for all the family.”
The day included entertainment such as face painting and activities for children. Following the event Santa has now taken up residence in his traditional grotto.
