These are the staff at Wem Mills, in about 1930. The picture has been loaned by Bill Turner and his wife Mrs Wyllis Turner, of Oak Cottage, Tilley, near Wem. Mrs Turner's maiden name was Healey. Back left is Fred Turner, Bill's grandfather. Then comes Frank Bromley, then unknown along the rest of the row. Front, from left, are Nora Healey; Fred Jones, who eventually became manager; Mr Parker, who was manager at the time; and then unknown.
