This is another photo from the album of the late Sam Powell of Shrewsbury which is now a treasured possession of his grandson Chris Smith, of Honnington, Telford. The names are given in a caption as, from left, Violet Loraine, F. Johnson, Doris Ovenden, R. Walker, Rita Emmerson, Sam Powell, and Irene Rich. The location is not known, but we are presuming they were from Shrewsbury. As Sam Powell was born in 1892, the date is likely to be, at latest, the 1920s from his apparent age.
