Teen beauty spot drinkers are ramblers, not rebels
- Dave Burrows
The Montgomeryshire-based Tanatside Hunt branch of the Pony Club, one of the oldest pony clubs in the country, celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. To celebrate, a reunion is planned for August 8 on Guilsfield showground. A commemorative album is being produced for sale and there will be a collection of photographs from each decade of the club’s history on display. Some of its proudest moments were in the 1960s when the club’s Prince Philip Cup mounted games team qualified twice for the finals of the Horse of the Year Show at Wembley. Pictured are the 1966 team of John Jones, Rowland Fernyhough, Philip Jones, Rosemary Trant (now Humphreys) and David Jones. More details about the reunion from Gill Davies on (01938) 580515 or gilldavies3@btinternet.com on e-mail.
