That’s the question posed by the unknown contributor who sent us this picture.
This picture of the Prestfelde School cricket team in Shrewsbury was taken in 1934, so there may be one or two of these lads who are still around to identify themselves and their colleagues.

the photo of the canal brings back memories. my 95 year old mother recalls a barge being horse drawn at withington as the canal was navigable with care right through to shrewsbury before the war. i wonder when ir will be restored. her uncle jack pritchard at walcot road farm provided the horse and with a 1920′s hmv wind up gramaphone playing, withington must have come alive.
i also enjoyed the photo of the cricketers at prestfelde school. i was a pupil there in 1950 but do not recognise anyone in the photo.
