Letter: Donald Trump has shown great courage and deserves a chance

We, as a nation, started hating Donald Trump before he even becomes president. He deserves a chance just as much as anybody. Not a single person I know believes Trump will be a good president. Why not?

His only crime is working for what he believes in and that takes courage. Courage to say what you think and strive for it to be reality. Honestly, I admire him. He has worked without rest to get to where he is today and he deserves to be President more than anyone.

In reality Donald Trump is just saying the things we all think, but are too scared to say. I believe that one of the reasons people don't like him is that they are just jealous. He is brave and with bravery comes honesty. He will get things done and there is no doubt about it. He is what America needs.

I can understand the discrimination about his hair and his tan, but does it really matter? Never judge a book by its cover, yet that is what we are all doing. It's what he does that matters, so, personally, I don't care that he looks like a "human duck" as long as he runs America properly.

Although Donald Trump is a big deal in America, why is he such a big deal here, in England, too? Yes, it will affect us, but no, it will not make that much of a difference. Unless you are going to be moving to America sometime soon, stop being such a killjoy!

If you don't like Trump you may just have to deal with it because in a couple of weeks he will be President. There is a reason why Britain does not get a vote in who is the next American President.

Donald Trump will be an outstanding President, Britain just needs to have more faith. I believe that his courage and perseverance will "make America great again".
